Hair Cloning At Vplant Hair Restoration Centre
Vplant advanced hair clinic & research firm announces their collaboration with UK based Hair Clone and future clinical trials cloning hair. Dr. Amit Agarkar brings novel & advanced hair restoration technology and science to clinical practice for his male and female patients who suffer from hair loss problems.
Our Vplant experts including Dr. Amit Agarkar are part of the delegates in various programs, research and further the scientific applications of hair cloning. We are a part of the faculty in a high level of technical skills and scientific interest in developing hair cloning & we are collaborating with leading scientists in Korea/Singapore. Clinical trials are going on regarding Cryopreservation, storage, shipment and shelf life of hair follicle and establishing methods to analyze data in terms of hair cell migration, hair engraftment, modification of hair follicle and dermal papilla structure.
Early work has started already & we are hoping for fruitful results in the coming days.
HOW IS HAIR CLONING DONE?
Approximately 100 to 200 hair follicular units would be extracted under local anesthesia. This procedure would take approximately 20 minutes.
Extraction process will be done by ADVANCE MHI technique with appropriate sterile devices. We will extract hair in zones so that your existing hair will hide the harvest sites and post procedure patient can go back to normal life almost immediately. The harvested follicular units will be ice cold preserved and transported to concerned labs.
The harvested follicles are then kept in a concern approved hair cloning bank.
What makes cloning a great idea, is that we can postpone hair restoration surgery until necessary. In some patients with a strong family genetic hair loss tendency and who are young, the banked hair follicles could be used later in life when male pattern alopecia occur. Hair follicular units could be taken from the lab and processed to extract the specific cells involved in the reproduction of the hair shaft.
Follicles would divide and multiply rapidly over the subsequent 2-3 weeks when it will be kept in appropriate culture medium in approved labs. These cultured processed cells would then be injected back to the bald area in our affiliated hair restoration clinic. It can reproduce new hair as well as the growth of potentially existing hair; the villus hairs could transform into thicker terminal hair shafts.
